CBDistillery Company Overview

CBDistillery was founded in 2016 by a group of Colorado natives with the people’s best interest in mind.

The founders saw that the emerging CBD industry was vastly overpriced and was quickly becoming saturated with inferior products.

This inspired them to set out on a mission to bring the masses high-quality, products grown in the USA, for a fair price.

They harnessed the power of social media to get the word out and created the hashtag #cbdmovement, which to date has over 440,000 mentions.

Here at CBD Facilitator, we strongly resonate with the company’s commitment to making the world of CBD accessible, effective, and truly beneficial for all who need it.

That’s why we’re glad to see that companies like CBDistillery can become some of the largest, fastest-growing, and most cost-effective brands in the marketplace today.

With over one million satisfied buyers and 26,000 verified reviews and testimonials to attest to it, it’s safe to say that CBDistillery’s products, customer service, and overall customer experiences are a step above the rest.

They pride themselves on transparency and have also spent a considerable amount of time educating their consumers on CBD and everything it has to offer.

CBDistillery CBD Softgels at a Glance

CBDistillery softgels are available in 30mg full-spectrum or broad-spectrum options and come in 30 or 60 count bottles.

The bottles themselves are a translucent dark blue with a white cap and a design that has a medicinal feel to it.

The branding is very clean and neat, and the labels themselves offer every bit of information that a consumer would need to know. The transparency that this company offers is very reassuring and refreshing!

Upon the product’s arrival, we noticed that the color of the softgels was darker than the picture on the label and box.

This might be concerning if you’re new to the industry, but it’s totally normal for the color of the oil to differ from batch to batch. There are numerous factors that can affect the color of the finished product, so it’s nothing to be concerned about.

The softgels are reasonably sized, so even if you tend to have trouble swallowing pills, fear not– these shouldn’t be a problem.

Below, we’ve included a photo in comparison to a penny that you can reference for a better visual.

CBDistillery CBD Softgels Quality

According to CBDistillery, their CBD products are made from US-farmed hemp that’s grown using natural farming practices, and all products are made using non-GMO hemp oil.

Every product is sent to a third-party lab testing facility called ACS Laboratory to ensure purity and compliance are both in check.

The most crucial factor to consider when judging the quality of a CBD product is, in our experience, the ingredients.

One of the things that stood out for this product is that, regardless of whether you choose the full spectrum or broad spectrum softgels, you’re getting much more than just CBD.

The full spectrum option contains 50mg of full-spectrum hemp extract, and the broad-spectrum option contains 38mg of broad-spectrum hemp extract.

Cannabis plants offer a host of beneficial compounds. Both of these formulations include much more than the CBD listed on the labels, allowing you to harness the plant’s full potential to maximize its effectiveness.

Ingredients: Fractionated Coconut Oil (MCT – Medium Chain Triglyceride), Full Spectrum Hemp Extract or Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract (Aerial Parts), Gelatin (Gelatin Capsules)

CBDistillery CBD Softgels Flavor

Many of us know and dread when a pill or supplement leaves a bad taste in our mouth; it makes what is already an unpleasant experience even more frustrating. Thankfully, CBDistillery had this in mind when creating these softgels.

The outer shell is completely flavorless and very firm, which prevents it from popping prematurely in your mouth.

Even daily use doesn’t seem to be enough to leave any sort of aftertaste in the mouth.

CBDistillery CBD Softgels Price vs Value

Strictly looking at the price tag, you might be thinking that these are very expensive. However, when you break things down a bit more, they’re priced extremely competitively.

The average cost for CBD softgels/capsules across the industry is $0.09 – $0.13 per mg. CBDistillery softgels come in far below the market average.

The problem with softgels and capsules is that they have extremely low bioavailability compared to other consumption methods.

To make up for the low absorption rates, CBDistillery has increased the amount per serving to ensure that the product is still effective.

At the end of the day, if your goal is to alleviate symptoms from an ailment like anxiety, chronic pain, or a sleep disorder and you’ve opted for a CBD softgel, you’re going to have to pay a bit more to achieve the results you’re searching for.

CBDistillery Company Reputation

CBDistillery has strategically positioned itself as a leader in the CBD industry. They’re the brain behind the #cbdmovement, which has gotten individuals from across the world in on the action.

They’ve spent years reaching out and educating the general public on the benefits of CBD and truly trying to make a difference in people’s lives.

CBDistillery is proving to the world, through its products and customer testimonies, that CBD isn’t just a placebo or buzzword; it’s a powerful compound that is positively affecting millions of people across the globe.

With company values that revolve around quality and transparency, it’s no surprise that they’ve built up such an avid following. It’s refreshing to find a company that genuinely cares about its customers and provides the best possible experience.

Final Thoughts

We can say with confidence that we’re extremely impressed by this product, even with the wide variety of experiences we’ve had.

The convenience of this product is one of the biggest draws. For example, being able to put these into a weekly pill organizer with the rest of your medications or supplements makes things much simpler.

We tested this product by trying out one full-spectrum CBD softgel with a morning coffee, and though the effects took a bit to kick in, we were surprised by their strength and how long they were able to last.

If you’re the type of person that prefers pills over other consumption methods, these are the only ones that we’ve found to be effective without requiring the user to take more than one. We stand behind this product and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for CBD softgels!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is hemp and CBD the same?

Hemp and CBD are almost one in the same, though one term refers to a variant of the plant Cannabis Sativa, while the other refers to a specific compound commonly found in cannabis.

Hemp, as defined by the 2018 Farm Bill, is more or less a consumer designation created by the government. It is any cannabis that contains 0.3% or less THC by dry weight.

It’s not its own species or anything especially special— it’s a form of cannabis, or a form of marijuana, that lacks the high-inducing compound in the same volume as other strains of the plant.

CBD, on the other hand, is one of a class of compounds found in cannabis called a cannabinoid. It is commonly harvested from hemp, as hemp is the only federally legal form of cannabis available for growing in the U.S., though it is found in all variants of cannabis.

The compound itself is renowned for inducing calmness, relieving pain and stress, and easing paranoia induced by THC. The properties of CBD oil as a somewhat therapeutic supplement with a wide range of medicinal applications are increasingly being demonstrated by CBD research, which all seem to point to the idea that it can help to alleviate pain, anxiety, and other unique features of certain ailments.

What is full spectrum CBD?

Full-spectrum CBD is a form of CBD that contains some amount of THC, whether it’s pushing up against the upper limits of legality (0.3% by dry weight) or it’s skirting way below those numbers.

This inclusion of all the natural chemicals found in hemp can have a profoundly positive effect on users. In fact, it can help with what is called the entourage effect, or the synergistic effect that can occur when multiple compounds naturally found in cannabis interact.

When used all at once, the entourage effect can help to improve pain-relieving abilities, increase relaxation, and improve overall health.

When you opt for a full-spectrum CBD tincture, you will find yourself capitalizing not only on the numerous CBD benefits but also the myriad benefits that the other natural compounds found in hemp can bring you.

Does CBD show up on a drug test?

To keep it short and sweet: no, CBD itself will certainly never show up on a drug test. The actual compound CBD does not show up on any normal multi-panel drug test, and its rarity as a test subject means that it would have to specifically be commissioned for any industry producer of drug tests to make.

Furthermore, there would really not be much reason for any employer or other administrator to go to the trouble of testing for CBD.

It’s federally legal, largely legal across the states, non-psychoactive and non-addictive (in addition to being focus-boosting and stress-busting — frankly, any employer would be quite misled to want their employees to stay away).

However, there are some major caveats to this that are worth noting. For one thing, many CBD products still contain THC, which is an incredibly commonly tested-for compound on multi-panel drug tests.

Even though the THC level must be below a certain limit — 0.3% by dry weight — that cannot cause psychoactive effects, this does not change the fact that in some rare circumstances, it could show up.

For instance, individuals who use THC-rich CBD products very regularly without breaks in between may experience buildups of THC in the body, as it is stored in the body’s fat and compounds much faster than it is expelled.

While this may mean benefits over time for the individual’s physical health, it may also spell trouble for anyone trying to pass a drug test.

This is only a potential problem for users of CBD products that contain THC, such as full-spectrum CBD tinctures or oils.

To avoid this, you may want to consider switching to broad-spectrum or isolate products, which are THC-free, or giving yourself tolerance breaks in order to reset your body’s THC levels.

I was born with Cystic Fibrosis, and although it is incurable, CBD and THC have been allowing me to live my life as a healthy adult now for years. For that reason, I’ve dedicated my career to spreading the good news about cannabinoids. Currently, I work for a cannabis distribution company called Humble & Fume which operates in California. Previously, I worked on two cannabis farms in northern California, one of which was located in the famous Humboldt County. I’ve also managed a medical cannabis delivery service in Marin County, California. I created CBD Facilitator to share what I’ve learned, and to recommend the best products that I have found in this chaotic market.
